Many providers of window fashions and patio shading solutions rely solely upon subcontractors, and those who employ their own teams often don’t train them the way they should. Instead, they send them to a two-day manufacturer training course and then send them directly into the field.
At The Home Living Company, that isn’t good enough. We recruit top-tier talent and rigorously train our installers to become the most proficient in the industry, so your results EXCEED expectations.
Specifically, each of our installers is what we call a “journeyman.” They’ve undergone factory training, and each journeyman has a minimum of four years of industry experience before leading your project.

Many companies claim their installers are “certified,” but often, this only means they’ve completed a basic, two-day training. Afterward, they’re launched into projects as so-called “factory-certified installers.”
That’s not good enough for us at The Home Living Company. To lead a project with our company, an installer must qualify as a journeyman. This means they have:
- Achieved Factory Certification
- Acquired over FOUR years of quality, in-field experience
- Proven able to enforce our stringent standards while leading a team
